Maria Elena Bello, born on April 18, 1967, in America, is an actress and producer as well as writer and director. Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (99), Coyote Ugly 2000, The Cooler 2003, A History of Violence 2005, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor 2008, Grown Ups (2011), Prisoners (2013) and Lights Out (2016) were only some of her film roles. On TV, Bello appeared as Dr. Anna Del Amico on the medical drama ER (1997-1998) and also in various other roles as a star, including Lucy Robbins on the series Touch in 2013. She also starred as Michelle McBride on the first season of the show Goliath in 2016 and from 2017 until 2021 as the Special Agent Jacqueline "Jack" Sloane in the series NCIS. Bello was born April 18, 1967 in Norristown Pennsylvania. She is the daughter of Kathy, a school nurse and teacher as well as Joe Bello, a contractor.Her father is Italian American, with roots in Montella, Italy, and her mother is Polish American.She was raised in a working-class, Catholic family and graduated from Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor, Pennsylvania. [7][8] In political science Bello studied at Villanova University. Bello continued to train in acting by taking part in various New York theatre productions. Bello is the mother of Jackson and Dan McDermott, her ex-boyfriend. In November 2013, she wrote about having a relationship that was sex with her then-partner, Clare Munn. She published a book, Whatever...Love Is LOVE: Questioning The Labels We Give to Ourself, (Dey Street Books) 28 April 2015.
